The ultropia prototype
Ultropia
Say goodbye to your washer and dryer! Ultropia's flagship product is the Ultramatic; a two-in-one washing and drying machine that uses a high frequency ultrasonic emitter to clean, sanitize, and dry clothing faster and more efficient than ever possible before.
Introducing the Ultramatic

Two machines in one, replace both your washer and dryer with the Ultramatic, saving you time, money, and space.

Fully wash and dry your clothes in just 20 minutes.

Uses less water and electricity to operate than a washing and drying machine, making it cheaper to clean your clothes!

Extends the life of your clothing by avoiding the wear and tear caused by needless friction in a traditional washing machine.

Does not require water hooks and works at any standard electrical outlet, making the Ultramatic highly portable.

Never before has cleaning clothes been so accessible, cheap, and easy. The Ultramatic will revolutionize how you clean your clothes.

How does it work?

Ultrasonic Cleaning is the practice of blasting dirty items with ultrasonic high frequency waves.

These waves rip through the water and create micro-vacuums within the medium.

When these vacuums collapse it knocks loose dirt and kills bacteria and viruses. This quickly cleans and sanitizes any item.

Ultrasonic cleaning is very fast, with deep cleans taking around 5 – 20 minutes on complex objects.

Currently, ultrasonic cleaning is used frequently to clean complex and/or fragile items, such as electronics, watches, and jewelry.

Ultrasonic drying works very similarly. Given a wet object, it can be quickly dried by blasting it with ultrasonic waves.

These waves are absorbed by water, heating it up and causing quick evaporation. This process is significantly faster than traditional drying methods.

Washing Clothes Should Be a Human Right

...but traditional washing machines are not equipped for such a challenge.

dried river

By 2025 half the world’s population will be living in a water stressed area.

But the average household washing machine uses 5,605 gallons of water each year.
unclean drinking water

One out of every three people do not have access to clean drinking water.

How are they going to wash their clothes with dirty water?
A long walk for water

One in ten people do not have a reliable source of water close to home.

But a washing machine requires a continuous source of water to clean clothes.
Polution from Factories

Sustainable energy goals are not being met, while 11% of the world are without electricity.

But a household washing machine and dryer on average consume 1,842 pounds of coal annually.
the ultramatic is the answer

The future requires a better way to clean our clothes. Traditional washing machines are inefficient and outdated, and neither solve the problems of today, or tomorrow.
Using less water, less energy, less space, being easier to use, transport, and to trust, the Ultramatic is the solution that we need.
